I have built a new website – http://www.amosaicstudio.com. My http://www.simplemosaics.com link is being routed to the same amosaicstudio site. Therefore…as of right now that site is not a working link. You will have to use http://www.amosaicstudio.com until it is set up. Hope that makes sense. Let me know how you like the new look!
.
I don’t know if anyone else has this problem but…I have been looking in my files for this picture for at least 6 months. Yes, I thought I knew all the tricks on searches. I just didn’t know how to find it buried way down deep in other files. Should I also add the file I had it under-the name-whch made no sense. Well I have found it now and wanted to share my stardom! :) Alyson Stanfield was in Anderson S.C. about a year ago and I was able to attend her seminar. So informative and fun. I guess I have been an Allison followers for the past five or more…ewww no that can’t be………………………..

Matisse, Henri (-Émile-Benoît)
——————————————————————————–
Timeline: The 20th century
Instinct must be thwarted just as one prunes the branches of a tree so that it will grow better.
– Henri Matisse
Matisse, Henri (-Émile-Benoît) (b. Dec. 31, 1869, Le Cateau, Picardy, Fr.–d. Nov. 3, 1954, Nice)
artist often regarded as the most important French painter of the 20th century. The leader of the Fauvist movement around 1900, Matisse pursued the expressiveness of colour throughout his career. His subjects were largely domestic or figurative, and a distinct Mediterranean verve presides in the treatment. More on this story…..
